Our Beliefs

God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. To Him we owe reverence, worship, love and obedience (Gen. 1:1; Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 5:3-4; 1 Tim.1:17; Hebr.1:1-3).

Jesus Christ

The Eternal Son of God who was 100% man and 100% God and came to redeem sinful man with His life.We believe that Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God that came into the world so that He might manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy, and become the redeemer of the lost world. He is the one and only mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. He was 100% man and 100% God. He was born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Spirit, possessed a human body and had a sinless nature. (Isa. 7:14; Matt.1:18-23; John 1:1-18, 29; 14:6; 2 Cor.5:19-21; Gal. 4:4-5; Eph. 1:20; Phil. 2:5-11; 1 Tim. 2:5-6; 3:16; Hebr.1:1-3, 4:14-15, 9:12-15; 1 John 4:14-15; Rev. 19:16).

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is the divine person equal with God the Father, and God the Son. He is the third person in the Trinity. He has indwelt every believer since the Day of Pentecost and by His baptism unites Christ’s own into one body. The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs immediately upon saving faith when we are placed into the body of Christ, the true Church. The filling of the Holy Spirit is as the occasion demands for service. The Holy Spirit can fill the believer by having an extensive influence and control over their lives. The Holy Spirit administers gifts of the Spirit as He pleases. He seals, regenerates, exalts, fills, convicts, indwells, guides, instructs, helps, comforts and sanctifies (Gen.1:2; John 14:16-17, 26; 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4, 38; Rom. 8:9-11; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 4:30; 5:18; I Thess. 5:19; 1 Tim. 3:16; 1 John 4:13).

Trinity

One God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Scriptures

We believe that all sixty-six (66) books of the Bible are the inerrant, unchanging Word of God, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the whole and in its parts, the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice (Deut. 17:19; Ps. 19:7-10; Ps. 119:11; Isa. 34:16; John 17:17; Rom.15:4; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).

Man

We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God, distinctively male and female but through the sin of Adam and Eve is now totally depraved. All men are sinners by nature and practice and are in need of the sacrificial atoning death of Jesus Christ (Gen. 1:27; Gen. 3; Rom. 5:12-19; 7:15-21).

Church

The gathering of baptized believers who live on mission representing Jesus Christ's truth and love in culture. We believe that the church is an elect body of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body. In the body of Christ are many spiritual gifts that should be in operation for the building up of the body. Water baptism (by immersion after salvation) and communion are the ordinances of the church in this age. The church is not a building but a body of believers where Jesus Christ is the head (Matt. 16:15-19; 18:15-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-26, 12:7-31; Acts 1:8, 2:41-42, 47; Acts 5:11-14; Eph. 1:3-4, 22-23; Eph. 2:19-22).

Salvation

The good news of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection to eternally redeem lost man. We believe that Jesus Christ died and shed his blood for our sins so that we could obtain eternal redemption. We are saved by grace through faith. Salvation is a free gift given to sinful man. Salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification and glorification (Gen. 3:15; John 3:3-21, 36; 5:24; Acts 2:21; 4:12; Rom. 3:23-25; 5:8-10; 6:1-23; 10:9-10, 13; Gal. 2:20; Gal. 5:22-25; Titus 2:11-14; James 2:14-26; 1 Pet. 1:2-23; Rev. 3:20; 21:1-22:5).

End Times

We believe the order of the end time events will be: (1) the bodily return of Jesus Christ to rapture the Church (His Bride); (2) the seven year tribulation period; (3) the bodily, visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth to establish His millennial kingdom for 1,000 years; (4) the final judgment and eternal state (Isa. 11:1-10; Dan. 9:24-27; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Thess. 5:9; Rev. 3:10; Rev. 6:1-19:21; 19:11-21; 20:1-3, 11-15; 21:1-22:5).
