What does it mean to become a partner of Wellspring?
Those interested in joining Wellspring can be considered for partnership. In partnership, we are agreeing to become active assets to the advancement of the kingdom of God and the ministry of Wellspring Church.
How does one become a partner of Wellspring Church?
- Attend regularly to enjoy the uniqueness of our community.
- Place your faith in the sufficient, substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for your sins (Matthew 1:21).
- After placing faith in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures command Christ followers to be baptized by water immersion. Baptism demonstrates death to one's old way of life and rising to a new kind of life in Christ (Romans 6:3-4).
- Agree with our doctrinal statement located on our website. Doctrine is what we believe the whole Bible says about specific topics.
- Attend the Partnership Seminar. This seminar is what most churches call their New Members classes. Instead of the typical 16-week class, we've condensed our seminar to one day, whereby we explain who we are, where we are going, how we are unique and how you can partner with us.
What can I do until I make a decision to partner with Wellspring?
- Attend regularly and enjoy belonging to a community of truth and love.
- Pray that God will show you whether he desires for you to partner with us long-term.
- Volunteer regularly in one or more of our volunteer areas on Sundays.
- Attend UPclose on 1st Sundays after service in order to ask any questions about the church or it's leadership.
- Participate in our community groups or other fellowship activities and events in order to grow while you decide.
