What is Kidz at the Well?
Kidz at the Well is the Preschool Ministry of Wellspring Church. Children from infants through the preschool age may participate.
When and where will Kidz at the Well take place?
Kidz at the Well begins receiving children at the Kidz Welcome Desk at 10:00am where parents experience simple and secure sign-in and sign-out procedures. The welcome desk is located in the main hallway of the school. Parents should pick their children up immediately following the worship service.
Who are the leaders?
There is a team of rotating adult and teen volunteers. All volunteers have been screened and trained. Many of them have been CPR-certified as well.

What are the registration and check-in procedures for my child?
- Each child can be registered by filling out a one-time registration form at the Kidz at the Well Welcome Desk. The registration form is available in PDF format. Feel free to print it, complete it and bring it at the time of your initial visit to Kidz in order to expedite the registration process.
- Upon arriving to church each week, parents should check their child in at the Kidz at the Well Welcome Desk. After signing their child in on the Sign-in Sheet, the child will receive a nametag and the parent will receive a security tag that matches their child's ID number. If the child has a diaper bag, it will also be tagged.
- Parents will have the opportunity to experience worship and the Word while their child is being well cared for, nurtured and taught.
- The participants in Kidz at the Well will experience an interactive Bible lesson with a related craft, praise and worship which includes a praise parade, Scripture memory, prayer and a simple gospel presentation. Age-appropriate toys will be available for the children. A light snack will be served.
- Immediately following the worship service, parents should pick up their children and sign them out.
What can I do to help Kidz at the Well to run more smoothly each week?
- Ensure that your child is in good health (i.e. no runny noses, fever or other symptoms of illness) before dropping them off. We want to prevent the unnecessary spread of germs and illness.
- Ensure that your child has used the restroom or been freshly changed prior being dropped off so that we may focus on transitioning them into the classroom setting more smoothly and quickly.
- Ensure that your child comes to class with a full stomach since we are only equipped to serve light snacks. Snack time is prior to dismissal.
- Send a drink with your infant or young toddlers to be served with their snack.
- Ensure that your child’s diaper bag and cup have been labeled to avoid mix-ups (if applicable). Send an ample supply of diapers and wipes (if applicable).
- Communicate any special instructions (i.e. alternate pickup) on the Sign-in Sheet.
- Check the contents of your toddler’s or preschooler’s take home bags and reinforce the enclosed memory verse during the week.
